About the Accommodation

Chambre Verte is a cozy space under the roof – calm, warm, and intentionally kept simple.

Natural materials and a clean, understated design create an atmosphere many guests experience as soothing and balanced.

The room accommodates one to four people and is suited for couples, small families, as well as solo travelers looking for a calm and harmonious place, even for longer stays.

Its location under the roof gives a strong sense of comfort and shelter – a place that invites you to slow down and stay.

The absence of a TV is a conscious choice, appreciated by guests seeking quiet and distance from everyday life.

The space is fully equipped, yet intentionally reduced to the essentials.

Ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers who value a calm and sheltered atmosphere, even during longer stays.

After your booking, you will receive access to our guest app. There, you can conveniently add services such as breakfast, laundry service, or other offers.

Neighbourhood

The house is located right next to our old farmhouse, which we have been living in since 2019. Since 2017, we have been cultivating the land following permaculture principles, guided by a deep connection to nature. Together with our animals – dogs, donkey, horse, sheep, chickens, and ducks – this creates a lively yet peaceful place.

The nearest neighbor is about 200 meters away.

The surroundings offer many possibilities: walks directly from the house, hiking in the Mille Étangs area, cycling, mushroom picking in autumn, or simply spending time in nature.

A special highlight is the Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Haut in Ronchamp – a world-renowned work by Le Corbusier and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016, reachable on foot in about 20 minutes.

Shops and restaurants are located in the nearby village, about 3–5 minutes by car. On foot, it takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes depending on the destination.

We recommend arriving by car, as the area is rural and public transport as well as taxis are limited.

For guests arriving without a car, we are happy to offer support within our possibilities – we kindly ask for your understanding that this cannot always be guaranteed.

Transport

• The accommodation is easily accessible by car.
• Parking is available directly on site.
• The nearest train station is in Ronchamp, about 2 km away, but it is only served infrequently.
• Basel-Mulhouse Airport is about a one-hour drive away and can also be reached by train.
• We recommend arriving by car, as the area is rural and public transport as well as taxis are limited.
• For guests arriving by train, we offer a pick-up from Ronchamp station only upon prior request (at least 24 hours in advance) and depending on availability.
